Billing & Subscription Policy

How Kilo Business plans, renewals, failed payments, grace periods, and account access work.

Last updated: July 3, 2026 · For: Fleet owners and billing administrators

01

Paid plans

Kilo Business is a paid SaaS product. Starter and Growth plans are billed monthly through Paystack. There is no free tier for production fleet operations.

Starter includes up to 10 managed riders, 5 dashboard staff seats (includes owner), and 500 / month jobs from the dashboard dispatch form. Growth includes up to 30 managed riders, 12 staff seats (includes owner), 3,000 / month dashboard dispatch jobs, and one custom domain on your public request portal.

Public request customer submissions are not capped by plan — only dashboard dispatch jobs count toward monthly dispatch limits.

Enterprise arrangements use negotiated limits stored on your account (riders, staff, domains, dispatch volume) — contact Kilo sales; unlimited self-serve tiers are not offered.

Complimentary access may be granted by Kilo admin for pilots or partners. Complimentary periods follow the plan tier granted unless Enterprise limits are explicitly approved.

02

Renewals & upcoming charges

Paystack creates a renewal invoice before each billing period. We email fleet owners when that invoice is created so you can confirm your payment method.

Plan features (custom domains, online checkout, advanced coverage, etc.) depend on your active subscription tier.

03

Failed payment & grace period

If a renewal charge fails, your organization enters a grace period with full dashboard access for seven days while we attempt to collect payment.

  • Day 0–7 (grace): Dashboard remains fully available. Owners receive email reminders to update payment.
  • Day 8+ (locked): Only fleet owners and admins can access Billing to pay. Staff and managers see a paused-dashboard notice.
  • Day 18+: Custom domains may be disabled while billing is unresolved.
  • Day 32+: Account may be terminated — dashboard and public request page disabled. Data retained for export; not immediately deleted.
04

Who can pay

Only organization owners (and Kilo admin) can manage subscription payment. Managers and staff cannot update billing or payment methods.

Paystack stores card details; Kilo only retains masked card metadata (brand and last four digits) for display in your dashboard.

05

Cancellation & refunds

You may cancel renewal through Paystack or by contacting support. Access continues until the end of the paid period unless terminated earlier for policy violations.

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly approved by Kilo in writing.

Platform policies (Kilo Go)

Marketplace-wide rules — payments, disputes, prohibited items, and rider conduct — live on the Kilo consumer site. Fleet operators and riders remain subject to those rules when using shared platform infrastructure.
