Fleet Operator Agreement

Terms governing fleet managers, owners, and admins who operate a delivery business on Kilo Business.

Last updated: July 3, 2026 · For: Fleet owners, admins, and managers

01

Who this applies to

This Fleet Operator Agreement applies to any person or entity that registers an organization on Kilo Business, invites staff, onboard riders, accepts deliveries, or collects payments through the fleet dashboard.

By creating or administering a fleet account you accept this agreement together with the Kilo Business Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

02

Your responsibilities

  • You are authorised to bind the business you register and to manage riders on its behalf.
  • You are responsible for rider conduct, vehicle roadworthiness, and compliance with local transport and labour laws.
  • You must only onboard riders after completing identity verification to your standards and ours.
  • You must keep business contact details, payout bank information, and verification documents accurate.
  • You must not use Kilo to move prohibited items (see Kilo Restricted Items Policy).
03

Rider onboarding & liability

When you add a managed rider you confirm that KYC and verification are complete and that your organization accepts responsibility for that rider while they operate under your fleet on Kilo.

Fleet-managed riders operate in a restricted mode: they cannot act as independent marketplace senders. You assign or dispatch work through your organization.

Disputes arising from rider misconduct, misrepresentation, or off-platform arrangements between you and your riders are primarily between you and the rider. Kilo enforces platform workflow, trust tiers, and payment rules described in our platform policies.

04

Payments, trust escrow & payouts

Customer payments for online checkout and platform-matched deliveries may be held in Kilo trust escrow until delivery confirmation according to platform rules.

Your ability to withdraw online fees depends on verification tier, payout bank setup, and compliance review. Kilo may pause withdrawals if limits are exceeded, fraud is suspected, or verification is incomplete.

Cash-on-delivery and manual quoting workflows remain your operational responsibility. Kilo is not liable for cash handling outside verified in-app flows.

05

Public request pages & customers

Your public request link identifies your organization as the service provider. Customers agree to Kilo platform terms and prohibited-items rules at checkout.

You are responsible for pricing, service quality, and customer communication for requests submitted through your branded link.

If your account is suspended, locked for billing, or terminated, public request pages may be disabled while data is retained for export per our billing and retention policies.

06

Suspension & termination

  • Kilo may suspend or terminate fleet access for fraud, repeated policy violations, failed billing, or regulatory requests.
  • Upon termination you may request a data export within the retention window stated in our Privacy Policy.
  • Provisions on liability, indemnity, and dispute resolution in the Kilo Business Terms of Service survive termination.
