Verification & Trust Policy
Starter and Verified tiers, KYB requirements, transaction limits, and payout eligibility.
Last updated: July 3, 2026 · For: Fleet owners completing verification
Trust tiers overview
Verification determines what payment and payout features your fleet can use. Limits are displayed in Settings → Verification.
- Active — registered on Kilo Business; limited trust features until Starter or Verified.
- Starter — operating agreement accepted; online collection within monthly and per-transaction caps.
- Verified — business registration and representative ID reviewed; higher limits, POD, pay-before-dispatch, and payout bank.
Starter path
Starter is for operators who are actively building their fleet and can describe their business accurately, even if formal registration is in progress.
By accepting the Starter operating agreement you confirm you are authorised to operate, accept Starter transaction caps, and understand that pay-before-dispatch and certain payout features require Verified status.
Kilo may pause withdrawals or online checkout if limits are exceeded or fraud is suspected.
Verified path
Verified requires business registration details, an authorised representative, and supporting documents. Kilo admin reviews submissions and may approve, reject, or request amendments.
Approved verification unlocks higher trust limits, customer-facing trust badges where applicable, and payout bank setup subject to Paystack verification.
Accuracy & revocation
You must keep verification information current. Material changes require an amendment request.
Kilo may revoke verification for false statements, expired documents, regulatory concern, or chargeback patterns. Revocation may restrict payouts and public trust indicators.
